Since 1997, ITEDO Software has provided the filters for import and export of CGM files into Adobe® FrameMaker®. The stability and reliability of these filters has since enabled FrameMaker® users to work with CGM files in compliance with international standards such as the CALS and ATA specifications.
The international standards are typically updated once a year, which leads to changes and enhancements of the filters. In addition, regular maintenance is performed on them. Adobe® and ITEDO Software will always do their best to incorporate up-to-date filters in major new releases of FrameMaker®, however, changes may happen between releases that are important to CGM users.
To allow FrameMaker® users to work with the latest filter technology even between major releases, Adobe® and ITEDO have agreed to provide access to new filters whenever they become available.
Below you will find links to the latest set of CGM filters for FrameMaker® for the different operating systems. Download the archive, uncompress them, and copy the files into the same directories where the original ones reside that came with your product.
Note:
Make backup copies of the original files in a different location. In the case an error occurs you can always replace the original filters by using the backup copies or by reinstalling from your product CD.
